18. If the “D” key was entered, screen displays “TEMPLATE ? 1-6 1”
19. Enter the template number then press “*”
20. Screen displays “L 01 02 03 04”

The L is the loop number & T is the zone type assigned to the corresponding
loop number.
21. Press “*”, screen displays “ENTER START ZONE (00 = QUIT) 21”. Enter
the starting zone number for the 5804/5804BD.
22. Press “*”, screen displays “INPUT S/N L”
AXXX-XXXX -
Type in the serial number or press a button on the 5804/5804BD.
23. Press “*” to proceed, screen displays “XMIT TO CONFIRM PRESS * TO
SKIP”, push a button on the keyfob or press the “*” key to continue.
24. Screen displays “ENTER START ZONE (00 = QUIT) 17”. Press 00 to exit or
“*” to continue.
25. If 00 was entered to exit the screen will display “ZN ZT - RC IN : RT”

Enter the zone number then press “*” to continue (ex. 10 *)
26. The cursor should be flashing under ZT, enter the zone type you wish to use or
press the “C” key to copy the previous zones attributes. NOTE: This does not
copy the serial number.
00 = NOT USED 09 = FIRE
01 = ENTRY/EXIT #1 10 = INTERIOR W/DELAY
03 = PERIMETER 20 = ARM-STAY*
04 = INTERIOR FOLLOWER 21 = ARM-AWAY*
05 = TRBLE DAY/ALARM NIGHT 22 = DISARM *
06 = 24Hr. SILENT 23 = NO ALARM RESPONSE
07 = 24Hr. AUDIBLE
08 = 24Hr. AUX.
* These zone types can only be used
for wireless zones.
