To Test Bwglary System:

The burglary system

should

be tested as follows every week:

WWRTANY:

The central station should be alerted before cond'ucting the

below described test, particularly if the communicator messages

are not programned by the installer for delayed transmission.

Am the system In the ANAY node.

Open a window or other sensor In

perlwter zone.

The console speaker will sound a burglary alam l&iately.

Either ltilately or delad

(depending upon PROM programni'ng),tk

exterior

alam sounder will produce the burglary sound.

At this time or 16 seconds later (depending upon PROM programing). the

caunlcator will transnlt an alam rssage

to the central station.

Dlsam the system by code entry and OFF depression or by turning tk key

at a key arming station.

lo Activate a PO1 Ice Alam’

1. a. Depress both POLICE

D2press a waentary

keys simultaneously at the console.

connected to Zone 5.

If the zone Is progrzmtd for audible alarm.

the.alarm sounder will canaence

inznediately, the POLICE LED on the console will light, and communicator

will transmit a message to the central station (delayed by 16 seconds,

if so programed).

If the zone is pmgrared for silent alam,

the communicator will transmit

a message to the central station.

A separate programming option determines

the

POLICE LED and the PHONE message on the console should light.

reset,

enter

the security code

at a console or a keypad and

depress

ffF or turn t)r

key at a key anving station.

To Activate an kergency Alam

The Emergency Alarm is only operative if Zone 6 is programmed as a 24 hour

zone. Otherwise, it is a burglary zone.

lkpress both EUERG keys slmultanenusly

at the console.

b. Depress

a waentary switch

connected to Zone 6.

2. -lately

loud alam

sound

uill

produced

from the console and exterior

sounders. This sound is the same as the burglary and police (if audible)

alarm sound. The EMERG LED on the console and the Zone 6 LED on the C-CCM

will light.

An emergency message will be transnitted to the central station

via telco linkage (PHONE message will light).
